Hope Hanna-Casupang
Hope Hanna-Casupang (she/he/they) is a dance and drag artist based in Southeastern Michigan. They recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Dance and Linguistics. She has studied under renowned dance professors such as Robin Wilson and Amy Chavasse and traveled extensively through opportunities at the University of Michigan to study dance in New Orleans and Seville, Spain. They have trained in various forms of Afro-Caribbean dance, Congolese dance, Contemporary, Humphrey, Graham, House, and Krump. Hope is known for their outstanding stage presence, theatricality, and ability to channel Spirit through themselves as a weapon of healing for herself, audiences, and the community. She is incredibly passionate about fighting for liberation of queer people and all People of Color.
